Direct to Operations, Direct to Senior Systems Engineer, Direct to Corporate Engineering (External Client)
The role of Desktop Support Engineer is tasked with the responsibility of working as part of the Origin84 support team to deliver the highest quality support services to our clients. These clients range from small businesses to large corporate entities and the expectation is that an exceptional support experience will be delivered regardless their size.
Primarily based out of our Surry Hills office, there will be a requirement to attend and work from client sites. In addition, the role has a requirement to complete a minimum of 16 hours per week seconded as an internal Desktop Support Engineer on location at a client site in CBD Sydney.

Role Tasks and Responsibilities
develop and maintain an understanding of the Origin84 support process and methodology, including desktop and server management systems, time recording and ticketing platforms and other support systems
undertake help desk support tasks in line with your current technical proficiency
manage and deliver projects within your technical proficiency as an individual or part of a team
establish and maintain relationships in key client accounts as a first point of contact for non-technical issues, or as an escalation path for customer service issues relating to a technical problem to ensure that client issues are resolved adequately and underlying issues reported and addressed
work alongside technical and business resources internally to review procedures for help desk support, projects and reporting
complete administration tasks to assist operations of the Origin84 as required, which include but not limited to time reporting
achieve and maintain industry certifications relevant to your duties, specifically focussing on developing a strong understanding of IT concepts current such as desktop management trends
participate in local and interstate travel as required to complete tasks included in the role
This role is full time for an initial period of twelve months. The first three months of your employment with Origin84 is a probationary period to assess suitability for this role. Contracts are reviewed at the completion of the probationary period and then on the anniversary of the contract being issued.
Total remuneration for the role of Desktop Support Engineer is negotiated based on the successful applicants experience, and is offered on the basis of you working an average of 38 hours per week plus reasonable additional hours necessary for the completion of your duties. Total remuneration is exclusive of superannuation. All Origin84 employees currently receive a 10% superannuation rate.
Origin84 offer employees in addition to the above Salary;
Personal development and certification training allowance to a maximum of $3,000 per year. This allowance can be put towards your further education or certifications relevant to your position, as approved by management.
