Origin84 (origin84.com) is pleased to deliver the next stage of our ongoing work to promote gender equity in the technology sector, and to more widely support our female co-workers in the Apple administration community, with the announcement of the inaugural Origin84 ACES Conference Gender Equity Scholarship.
The aim of the scholarship is to promote and encourage women who work in an existing Apple consultancy or in the field as a consultant. We believe that through increasing representation of women at ACES conferences we can have a healthier environment, better dialogue, and a better culture within Apple consultancies and the sector in general.
“At the beginning of 2019, 71% of our customers’ key decision makers or primary points of contact were women. It is clear that we are nowhere close to that within the Apple support industry. This scholarship is one action we can take to shine a light on the problem and show leadership in closing the gender gap in our sector.”
– Michael Thomsen, Founder Origin84
