Using Microsoft Microsoft Entra at Unified Music Group
UMG use Microsoft Entra for logging in to a wide variety of core corporate applications.
Entra provides increased security and as seamless access as possible to the resources you need to access. This guide shows you a few specific steps for you to complete and to get yourself ready for work.
Getting Started with your Microsoft Entra Identity
Step 1: Access Microsoft Online and Log In
Go to: login.microsoftonline.com in your web browser.
Enter your work email: This is the email you have been provided, and usually is format - [email protected]
Enter Password: Type in the password your manager has provided for your first day
Step 2: Access Microsoft Online and Log In
1. Computer - Go to: login.microsoftonline.com in your web browser and Enter your work email: This is the same email you used for JumpCloud.
2. Computer - Enter Password: Type in your JumpCloud password. This password will now work as your Microsoft login.
3. Computer - Security level not met: If you need to improve the security of your account you will be prompted to complete further steps.
4. Computer - Set Up Microsoft Authenticator Continue to follow the setup prompts on the Microsoft login page and choose Next
5. Computer - Proceed: Select the Work or School account option once you select Next
6. Authenticator App - Proceed: Select the Work or School account option
7. Authenticator App - Choose the QR Method: you will need to scan the QR code on the screen of your computer and that will link your phone to your account.
8. Computer - Test it out: You will then be asked to try the code method for authentication. The number shown should appearing on your app
9. Authenticator App - Verify with the code: Enter the code
10. Computer - Success: Great, you’ve gotten the job done!

All applications you have been assigned are available at https://myapps.microsoft.com/ Bookmark this URL for easy access.
Password Reset Option if Needed
If you experience issues logging in:
Go to the “Forgot Password” option on the Microsoft login page.
Follow the prompts to reset your password using the SMS option if your mobile number is set up in Microsoft.
